Edible Sand Sensory Bin Activity for 1 Year Old’s

If you have a one-year-old then you know the struggle of keeping anything and everything out of their mouth.

Giving them fun things to do every day is exciting for both baby and mommy, but sometimes it can be stressful because you wish you can do things with them that are not quite age appropriate yet.

Lucky for you, I have created an age-appropriate sensory activity for your one year old that is super easy (and cheap).

Check it out below…

What you’ll need to recreate this edible sand sensory bin activity:

I also found these super cute sand table toys!

How to make the sand:

  • The oatmeal and the Graham crackers into a zip lock bag and seal shut
  • use either a hammer or your hands to crush the Graham crackers in the bag
  • you can also use a blender for this step

After you make the sand just pour everything together into the dish pan and let your little one go at it!

If you do this with your baby please pin it to Pinterest and use the tried it button so I can see how your baby likes it.
