Whether you are a new mom or have multiple kids these awesome tips and hacks will serve you well I am sure!

Pumping is a pretty time-sucking chore and we want to get the most out of our breast milk supply.

We do not want anything to go to waste mamas!

Especially if you are exclusively pumping or you are a pump at work mama, these ideas will have you storing your pumped breastmilk like a pro.

Most of these hacks are easy to follow and extremely basic but will be lifesavers in the long run as you develop and breast pumping and storing routine.

Here are some awesome breast milk freezer storage hacks that you will surely use…

#1) Label your milk before freezing it!

This is crucial to ensure that you know exactly what date and time you pumped your milk so you do not risk giving your baby spoiled milk.

There are some pretty nice breastmilk pouches on Amazon that have ready to use labels on them like this one. They keep you organized and up to date, I might add. 😉

#2) Leave room

Make sure you are leaving some extra room in the freezer bags. When breastmilk freezes it expands so you are going to only want to freeze 2 to 3 ounces per bag at a time to ensure there is enough room.

#3) Lay them flat

Another awesome trick is to lay the freezer bags flat so you are able to stack them and have room for other non-breastfeeding items in your freezer.

#4) Make boob cubes

If you are pressed for cash and you just do not want to buy the fancy-schmancy milk freezer bags that are specifically for storing breast milk, you can always make boob cubes!

All you have to do is freeze your milk in regular ice cube trays and then divide them into Ziploc bags for storage.

This may take up some room in the freezer but it is a money saver.
