Being a mother may seem like a bearable task, but mom burnout is real.

Burnout is a mental or emotional state of exhaustion when you push yourself beyond your capabilities.
Often, this is caused when you push yourself to meet constant demands, whether it’s in your career, family, or personal life.

One of the signs of burnout is feeling exhausted and drained, despite having a complete set of rest.
No matter how much sleep you get, burnout is derived from a huge burden on top of your shoulders that you can’t meet.
You lack a sense of fulfillment or motivation when you’re burnt out, and nothing feels satisfying any longer.
#1) Don’t sweat the small stuff
You’re feeling exhausted enough as it is, so you need to lift the pressure off yourself.
Take things easy, and don’t pressure yourself in trying to achieve everything, all at once.

Even if you’re a mommy, there’s nothing wrong with asking for help.
Burnout is caused by attempting to accomplish one task on top of another and as a mom, you can’t always accomplish everything.
If it’s taking care of the kids, it’s okay to ask for help from other family members or your husband.
It doesn’t make you a bad parent, it makes you human.

Finally, to get the rest you deserve, you need to take some time off for yourself.
A weekend staycation will do you a lot of good, to take a break from all the responsibilities on you.
This allows you to recover some of the energy you lost in all your responsibilities.
