Until you actually have your baby, you struggle to realize exactly how many diapers you will really go through in those initial months of your baby’s birth.
Diapers can be extremely expensive but the good thing is, you have plenty of notice to build yourself up a decent stockpile and you shouldn’t delay in that.
When your baby is here, having a diaper stockpile will take some of the stress off and generally save you money.

Let’s take a look at how to build a diaper stockpile before your due date.
Add diapers to your baby registry
During your baby shower or right before giving birth in general, people are going to give you gifts for the baby.
While outfits are cute, you should make sure to add diapers to your registry.
Put down a few different sizes before newborns grow super fast and you want to make sure that you are covered.
Have a diaper raffle
At your baby shower, you could always have a diaper raffle to increase your collection of diapers.
This works by everybody bringing a pack of diapers in exchange for a raffle ticket or several, depending on how many boxes they bring.
Whosoever number is drawn will win a special prize.
Lurk local mom groups on Facebook
Mom groups are very useful when you are pregnant, so make sure to look for some in your area.
There are always moms giving diapers away or selling them for a cheaper price if they do not fit their little ones anymore.
In addition to using them as a resource, mom groups are great places to get advice from other parents and those who are pregnant too.
Throw a diaper party
A diaper party is quite similar to a baby shower but it is diaper themed, as the name would suggest.
The one thing different about a diaper party is that it is centered around DADS and usually requires a whole ton of beer too.
The host provides the beer and maybe some food and the guests all bring diapers for the parents to be.
This is a really cool idea and one that helps to get dad involved.
Get samples
Stores and websites are often giving out free samples, so keep your eyes peeled for ones that are giving away diapers.
Every single diaper you can get your hands on is going to be helpful for your stockpile.
Signing up to a baby registry is an awesome way to get free samples.
There are many baby registries you can sign up for, I found that Amazon Baby Registry is the best one.

Use coupons
In addition to free samples, there are many coupons available to get money off diapers.
Diapers are expensive so if you can get half-price off or even 25 percent off, you are going to be saving yourself a whole lot of cash.
There are many websites where you can get coupons nowadays. My favorite website to browse around for great deals is The Krazy Coupon Lady.
Buy in bulk and use cashback sites like Rakuten
Buying in bulk is going to cost you less than buying diapers as and when you need them.
If you use a cashback site like Rakuten, you can even get money back on any purchases you make.
Just be sure, as mentioned previously, that you purchase diapers in all different sizes because your baby will soon grow out of the smallest size.
You can check out Rakuten to save big bucks on diapers by clicking here.
